I would not recommend this campground to anyone Small, quiet, private RV park near I-25, on the south side of Cheyenne. We'll definitely try to stay there again and we already have and will in the future, recommend A and B Campground. The spaces near the front are spacious enough, but seemed to be used more by monthlies and long term. Nice little BBQ restaurant on the property, run by the owners, food good and prices reasonable. I would attempt to find another place to stay next time through Cheyenne. The reason we would go back, even with these problems, is because of the restaurant.
While staying at AB Camping RV Park in Cheyenne WY walk to our great BBQ restaurant and settle down to a great dinner. The pictures and ratings did not match what I experienced. Angled pull-through gravel sites with some shade trees. Tight spacing, so you cannot spread out to the sides. The spaces in the rear of the property, across a dividing road are a little tighter. This is not a destination in itself, by certainly ok for a night or two. The Wyoming State Museum is free and worth a visit, as is the downtown plaza and train station. We don't pull a toad so have to eat in or get something on the road.

In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.10 / / 10The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. The place was half empty but the site I was given was next to the showers & laundry. Permanent residents had nicer spots that look like the pictures on the web site but the other sites had a few trees, dirty tables with bird poop. I would not stay here again Arrived at night, was told info would be posted on door...not. I Paid 40.00 for this site, and was a very unsatisfied customer. We wish we would have been early enough to enjoy the bbq restaurant. We could have parked in the “nicer” area with grass, but sites looked very close to each other and trees looked low enough to scrape our coach. Grassy areas were overgrown, trash bins full, hook-ups looked unkept.
If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star (), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms. So I parked in a empty site and plugged in for electricity. When I spoke to the owner, she was rude and could care less. The facilities were neat and clean, very nice bathrooms and showers. Site was large enough for our motorhome and vehicle parked on the side. On the way out of the park, trees did scrape the top of the coach. I would not consider this a “big rig friendly” place. We almost left until the staff found us a place in a better area of the park.
